The Asia Foundation is seeking a Knowledge Management and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Lead for its Oporajita program in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Overview
The Oporajita program is a collaborative initiative among 15 organizations to address challenges to women’s future employment opportunities and livelihoods in the garment industry. The Asia Foundation acts as the Backbone Organization, guiding the strategy, vision, and communications for the collective.
The initiative covers multiple aspects, including providing future-fit skill training, cultivating an enabling environment, and fostering collaboration in an inclusive RMG sector. The Knowledge Management and GESI Lead will develop and implement KM systems, knowledge products, learning initiatives, and GESI strategies to strengthen evidence-based programming and policy influence.
The role ensures effective documentation, synthesis, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge generated through the initiative, promoting a culture of learning and adaptive management. The Lead will also provide technical guidance to mainstream GESI across program design, implementation, and other activities.
